Mansfield motor on in Division 1. University 1 and 2 open with draws. Radcliffe & Bingham, winner of the ECF Small Club Of The Year Award 2024 show they are a club on the rise. R&B 1 continue to set a hot pace in Division 2, defeating Ashfield 1 in the first match between these two teams for decades. Previously a division or two separated them. R& B2 also score a convincing win v. Newark 2. For once Newark’s top board could not pull off his usual impressive escapology of playing half the game on the increment and continuing to record the game.
West Bridgford 2 score their first win. Ashfield 3 and Ashfield 4 show their senior clubs how to win, and a good week for Gambit with 2 wins and a draw.
